| The House Of Usher - Pandora's Box / new album |
| By releasing their 8th album PANDORA'S BOX, the German Gothic Rock band, THE HOUSE OF USHER, shows once more their impressive mutability without getting disloyal towards themselves and their genre.
PANDORA'S BOX presents twelve songs which combine atmospheric density, illustrious pathos and epic melancholy. However, the band doesn't conceal its musical origins for a single moment.
Being deeply rooted in 1980’s Goth Rock, THOU persues this musical heritage with PANDORA'S BOX coming up with new and surprising elements.
The characteristic guitar playing by Georg Berger (ex-THE CRACK OF DOOM, ex-FINNEGAN'S WAKE) and the new band member Tom o'Connell (ex-GARDEN OF DELIGHT, TRAUMTAENZER) is based on a propulsive solid drum and bass foundation (Axel Burgard and Ralf Dunkel, both ex-FALLEN APART) while the different elements are kept together by the cohesive vocals of band founder (and author) Jörg Kleudgen (COSMOGENESIS, NECROLOGIO, DIE SCHATTENCHRONIK).
Due to the fact that THE HOUSE OF USHER are always open to new influences, which are naturally realised in their compositions, songs like "How Far Can We Go", "Finders Keepers" or "Coming Home" prove that also in 2011 Goth Rock can sound up to date.
Since the very first release of the band in the early nineties, an additional short story in the booklet has always been part of a new album.
Here "Die Box der Pandora" provides the listener with the conceptual background of the songs which in return make the soundtrack for the story.
You'll experience a breathtaking flood of pictures filled with occult quotations.
Music, literature and artwork open a wide field for your own interpretation turning PANDORA'S BOX into a multi-layered integrated work of art.
The band is going to perform PANDORA'S BOX live on tour in October/November 2011 in Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Bochum, Mannheim, Nürnberg and Ulm.

| "We are the last ones of a dying race. We have tried everything, but no one wanted to listen to our warnings. Alamogordo, Eniwetok, Fangataufa and Tschernobyl are the fire signals of our imminent total liquidation."
This is the key sentence of the story to the forthcoming The House Of Usher-Album "Pandora's Box". Since the weekend of March 12th and 13th we are overtaken by reality. To express our own palsy we have decided to find a spontaneous musical statement. It is based on a brief text sent to me by author Uwe Voehl under the impression of the nuclear catastrophe in Japan and on a song fragment we taped on March 14th 2010. The Katastrophe of Fukushima must never fall into oblivion! Hands off science that kill us!"

Experience
6 years ago the SILVERY debut "Blackbox" was released followed by "High-Class High On". Finally the highly anticipated new SILVERY album "Written On Skin" is out now. The listener is accustomed to the great works this band has already delivered but, without a doubt, "Written On Skin" meets all expectations.
SILVERY describe their latest musical outcome as a dark pop experience. Their music is more than ever before a crossover of Goth Rock, Trip-Hop sounds, Dark Wave, Synthie Pop and Metal. The band likes to vary a lot setting the mood in all emotional abysses from powerful, driven by guitars (“Return Or Ahead”) to apparently consumed by a sad longing and sometimes even fragile tune. The songs tend to have a gloomy and atmospheric spirit, influenced by the extraordinary melancholic voice leaving its decisive mark on the band's sound.
The very first beat reveals "Written On Skin" as a piece of art SILVERY put all their heart and soul into.
Not only the music itself but also the production is defined by high quality since well-known and experienced professionals like Dirk Riegner (Peter Heppner, Secret Dis-covery, Xandria and others) were involved. As a result the sound exceeds all expec-tations.
SILVERY do not warm up the well-established. This album is a modern interpretation of Dark Wave, without getting lost in clichés or serving them.
