Founded in 1999 and playing in the same line-up since 2001, REPTYLE released three demo CDs and, in 2004, their first full-length album “A High And Lonely Place” (Sonorium / SXDistribution) to massive critical acclaim:

Apart from aforementioned CD releases, scores of gigs in Germany and abroad (sometimes supporting bands like Clan of Xymox, Ikon and The Crüxshadows) helped secure a big and growing fan base.

In May 2007, the long-awaited second album „Consequence“ is due for release. REPTYLE have been promoting the new songs live on diverse festivals (e.g. Judgemant Day (A), Burgnächte (D)) and supporting bands like Funhouse and Cinema Strange. Also, a number of the new tracks have been placed on noted compilations (e. g., New Dark Age 4 (Strobelight Records), United Forces of Phoenix (Nomadism Records). “Consequence“ combines underground rawness, perfect songwriting and pitch-black atmosphere in a milestone of European guitar goth. With hooky anthems  (“Bought Me A Lie”), dance floor stompers (“Where I Come From”, “Just Like You”) and almost frighteningly intense epics (“Under The Hammer”, “Great Opportunities”), REPTYLE present a varied offering of high-octane goth rock.
