The Australian Wave-legend, Ikon, came back impressively earlier this year with their new album, "Destroying the World to Save It", a standout album not simply because it represents the best production in the band's history, but also because of the authentic depth of the compositions on the album. The album literally exudes dark visions critical of religious and political delusions, yet also manages in the same package to deliver true club-hits, a winning combination that assured the album a place in the Top 10 of Native 25 German-DJ Alternative Charts for 12 consecutive weeks! Almost unanimously, the DJs called "Rome" the dancefloor hit of the album. Consequently, it comes as no surprise that "Rome" is the new single release from Ikon. Along with two versions of "Rome", the single offers two exclusive tracks, including "Time Against Time" and "Understanding", which haven't made their way onto the album but are nevertheless very catchy tunes in typical Ikon-style that are certain to wow their fans. Also included is a thrilling live version of "God Has Fallen from the Sky" and a remix of the song "Blue Murder" from the hard-hitting Australian undergrounders known as Tankt.
Recommended: "Rome (Single Version)", "Time Against Time", and "Understanding".
